On October 31, the MIA Rescue Service organized a regional simulation exercise in Hrazdan forest area, Meghradzor locality in Kotayk Marz, with the Hrazdan rescue forces, the Tsakhkadzor VFRG (Armenian Red Cross Society volunteers) from Meghradzor, Ministry of Internal Affairs (police forces), “Hayantar” SNCO and the ecopatrol service of the Ministry of Environment.

This tactical training focused on “the organisation and implementation of firefighting in forests and protected natural areas” and involved a wide range of rescuers and specialists, including a helicopter team, for firefighting, rescue, first aid and psychosocial support.
