Baghramyan VFRG - VFR Station Inauguration - Yervandashat - May 2026

On 8th of May 2026, the Baghramyan Volunteer Fire Rescue Station was inaugurated in Yervandashat locality, Armavir region. The building was granted by the Baghramyan community and refurbished with funding from the Baghramyan community and the VolFiRe project.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Head of Armavir region, Head of community of Baghramyan, Regional Head and Deputy Head of Rescue Service for Armavir region, Head of Baghramyan Rescue Service fire brigade and representatives of the locality of Yervandashat, the Austrian Red Cross, the Armenian Red Cross Society and Armenian Caritas.
5 volunteers received their MIA Rescue Service certification during the ceremony, granted with MIA Rescue Service official rescuer passport and badge.
The inauguration was followed by an exercise involving the volunteers in the evacuation of a school, rescue to persons and fire extinguising, jointly with a crew of the Baghramyan Rescue Service fire brigade and a crew of the Baghramyan Police.
